Emerging from the highly charged musical heart of the Detroit rock scene, Art Rautenberg has utilized a wide range of influences to write pop rock music heavily influenced by the Beatles, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Vertical Horizon and even Yes, all woven together to create a unique blend in a rock style that is firmly his own. He’s now living and performing in Los Angeles, playing all the instruments on his demos, and performing live with his band, The New Picasso’s. He's currently performing at venues like The Whisky A Go Go and The Cat Club, performing new songs, building a solid fan base of all ages. Besides writing for himself and the New Picasso’s, he hopes to add to his catalog by breaking into the TV/Film soundtrack world.
